Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion model and actor from the United States. Following his fame-making role on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he appeared in more 20 feature movies including The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, he has been featured in more than 22 television series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely resilient fighter. Two years after treatment, his cancer is in Remission. The treatment at an early stage had a negative effect on his body. It hindered his development. At the time he started to make decisions, financial security seemed like his ultimate goal. He had been in poverty throughout his childhood. Interviewer stated that as the way he lived was so shabby throughout his life, I needed financial stability to feel secure. He looks back on his youth and feels an urge to do something against the bullying. Cruelty breaks my heart DJ says. The ideal character for him in films as well as in real life is that of father. However, he does admit that the directors rarely choose him for these kinds of roles. One day he'd love to have a baby so that he could devote much less of his time and more time to his newborn.
